April O'Brien
Founder & Principal Designer
Meet April
April O'Brien is the founder and Principal Designer of Studio A Interior Design Group and has been extensively involved in the design and merchandising of resale properties for more than 20 years. When she founded Studio A Interior Design Group her hope was to give her clients a uniquely customized design experience. She feels that every client should have beautifully functional interiors and a space that is their personal sanctuary at the end of the day. Having studied at the Art Institute, with her degree in Interior Architecture/Design she brings her unique skills and unbounded creativity to every project she works on no matter the size.
April has been designing model homes and working primarily with custom home builders on multi-million dollar commercial and residential properties, from design to conception for more than 15 years. In addition to staging and designing homes, April’s experience includes project management, kitchen/ bath renovation, and full-service interior design services. April is a visionary and advocates continuing education, leading her team by staying current and on-trend within her industry. She is an avid world traveler and creating beauty and transforming spaces is her life passion.
April is currently a professional member of the Real Estate Staging Association (RESA) NE Florida chapter. In addition to being an active member of the National Kitchen/Bath Association (NKBA), She is also certified in Feng-Shui Design principles and Green Design and Sustainability Construction Projects. She currently resides in St. Augustine, FL
Meet The Team
April O'Brien
Founder/Principal Designer
April leads the Studio A team from project to project. She is hands on with each project and directs the other team members/ tradesmen/contractors to bring her design vision for each project to life.
Samantha Howlett
Project Coordinator
Samantha is our go to for all things, procurement and logistics. She works closely with the contractors to make sure they have all that is needed to keep the project flowing. She is a vital part of the Studio A team, ensuring that each project stays on schedule.
Maya Ryan
Jr. Designer
Maya is the newest member to the Studio A team. She is in her last year of design school and we love the fresh energy and ideas she brings to the team. She works with sourcing/mood boards and room layouts for the design team.
